When and where is the Auction? Saturday, November 14th at 5:00PM at the Embassy Suites Lynnwood. Doors open at 4:45PM.

Who is invited to the Auction? All parents, staff, alumni, community, and supporters of Shoreline Christian School. This is a fun night for the whole community to come together and celebrate SCS, but we encourage you to leave the kids at home for the evening.

What does the money go towards? All funds raised in the silent and live auctions go to the Charger Impact Fund, which supports 3 areas at SCS – student enrichment, staff excellence, and tuition assistance. There will also be a fund-a-need time during the live auction, which will help fund a specific goal for this upcoming school year.

Tell me more about the Fund-a-Need – Our Fund-a-Need portion of the live auction will go to support the Arts Programs at SCS. As many public and private schools shrink their Arts Programs due to budget shortcomings or cuts, we are making an effort to expand and build up the arts here. Through the arts, students get to enrich the world around them, add to the beauty of creation, and we get to celebrate those gifts.

By funding the Arts, students across the school will have access to better supplies, programming, instruments, instruction, opportunities, and more.

What is the order of events? Our Auction starts with a social time and Silent Auctions. After the silent auctions close we will have dinner, followed by the Live Auction. During the Live Auction we will have the Dessert Dash and Fund-a-Need portions.

What is the Dessert Dash? Each table will have the opportunity to pledge money towards their dessert. The table with the highest pledges will get to ‘dash’ – literally run to the dessert table – and claim their dessert first, and so on. The more your table is willing to pledge, the better chance you have to get the dessert of your choice! There will be plenty of mouth watering options, so don’t fret if your table chooses not to pledge.
