Visit Our Private Christian School

Choosing a school for your child is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make in their young lives, and you don’t want to make that decision without first coming to see the Shoreline Christian School campus for yourself. Once you’re here, you’ll get a much better sense of how we can help your child discover themselves, develop their faith, and belong in our caring community.

What You’ll Learn on Your School Tour

When you sign up for a personal tour, you’ll get an overview of the entire campus and an up-close look at your child’s classroom. Typically, the director of the school will be your tour guide and provide historical background, explain how we integrate faith into learning, answer questions, get to know your family’s unique needs, and more.

Tours take around an hour, and we encourage families to bring their children!

  • When you arrive, you’ll park in one of our reserved visitor parking spaces and meet your tour guide at the front office.
  • As you are shown around, pay attention to how people treat each other and to the excitement in the rooms. Ask questions along the way.
  • Absorbing all of these details can feel overwhelming. Our Director of Admissions will send you home with a folder full of helpful information on everything from our mission statement to private school tuition and fees.

What You’ll See on Campus

When it comes to learning, environment matters. That’s why we’re excited to show you our beautiful campus and tell you about some of the not-so-visible updates we’ve made — like state-of-the-art fire systems and all-campus security systems.

You’ll get to tour:

  • Our Elementary and Middle/High School buildings
  • Your child’s classroom
  • Full-court gymnasium
  • Elementary library
  • Music room
  • Art room
  • Playgrounds, covered play area, and outdoor trail
  • Outdoor track
  • Chapel
  • Specialist’s rooms
  • 3D print room for our high school technology students

Community

“A couple of years ago we scheduled a tour with SCS. We had the opportunity to meet some of the teachers and walk around the school to see the classrooms. Everyone was so nice. They answered all of our questions. Our kids were very impressed, and they loved the environment. We are sure glad our kids are going to SCS. Super teachers and staff, attentive and all over it, real classes, School Curriculum with Christ included rather than rejected and denied. It’s our pleasure to write a testimonial for Shoreline Christian School. It is a really great School; glad our kids are going there; easy to recommend. “Christ is Risen,” as we say at our Church.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear on the tour?

We will be moving around a lot — indoors and outside — so we recommend you wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

What questions should I be sure to ask?

Start by thinking about what is most important to you. Is it incorporating faith into your child’s education? Are you interested in our educational philosophy? Are athletics and extracurriculars a passion of your child’s? Use whatever matters most to you and your family to guide your questions.

How do I know if the school is affordable for my family?

You’ll see most of that information on the tuition page of our website, but always feel free to reach out and talk things through with us.

How involved is the admissions process?

We keep it as simple as possible. You’ll find all four steps on our admissions page. We understand that paperwork can feel overwhelming sometimes, and we want to assure you that we are here to help you through each step of the process.
