One of the Big questions we get when we talk with new families is “How?” How do you help my child discover, develop, and belong? How do you help them live into those words I see everywhere on campus?

The goal of a school, any school, is to educate children. So, certainly there is discovery and development inherent in that process. Where we take it a step further is that we do this and all things through a Christian Worldview. We firmly believe that this world belongs to God, so when we discover more about the world, we’re also discovering more about God.

As a part of God’s world, our students also develop the gifts that God has given them. That isn’t just learning how to dribble a basketball or paint a picture, it’s building an understanding that kindness and patience are gifts that need to be developed. It’s developing good study habits, but also developing the skills needed to engage the world from a Christian perspective; how to converse with those who disagree with us or have a different worldview. These skills need to be developed and, when we approach them from the starting point of God’s world and God’s gifts given to us, students grow more and more into who they are meant to be.

Finally, we create spaces and community opportunities where students and families feel like they belong. We belong, in life and in death, to our faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. And this belonging in a Christian community is an extension of both a church community and a family. Students come back to our school after graduation and give back, families stay involved long after they have stopped paying tuition. The friendships forged here can be lifelong.
