On-Call Substitutes

Shoreline Christian School is seeking on-call substitute teachers. These are natural teachers who are:

  • Temporarily executing core teacher’s lesson plans
  • Flexibly adapting to different classes and curricula
  • Enjoying our small learning community

Please fill out the job application above, and please be aware that there are extra steps in order to be qualified with the state for Early Learning. Therefore, sub candidates will also need to complete a few of the following. For any questions, please reach out to Char DeKoekkoek at:

  1. Sign up for MERIT to gain a STARS number-
  2. You will need to fulfill 30 hours STARS Basics class, or apply for an educational exemption with an Education-related degree
  3. Apply for background check in MERIT
  4. Get a TB test
  5. Optional – Food Handlers permit (not required unless assisting with lunches or snacks)
