Abby DeKoekkoek has been chosen as the Student of the Quarter for the 2nd quarter of 2013-2014 by the faculty of Shoreline Christian School. The emphasis second quarter was on leadership.
Being a bit wiser and definitely older, I wish I could go back in time to thank some of the people who made an impact on who I am today. One of the people who taught me about student well-being is Ralph Honderd. Coach Honderd was my track coach my senior year at Calvin College. My college track career to that point was pretty non-descript.
Sue Visser didn’t expect to spend her days teaching some of the littlest learners at Shoreline Christian School. But after a time, God revealed better plans that utilized her in developing the minds and hearts of kindergartners. Winners of the 1st through 8th grade classroom spelling bees will participate in this school-wide spelling bee on Friday, February 7. Everyone is invited to attend.
