High School Social Studies
Six SCS art students, Sydney Alberda, Grace Seyoum, Olivia Eisses, Anna Rietkerk, Noelle Alberda and Sarah Owen submitted art to the 7th Congressional District Art Competition sponsored by Representative Pramila Jayapal on May 1st. The Awards Reception announcing the three place winners was held on Monday evening, May 8th, at the Seattle Repertory Theater.

Elise Aydelott has been chosen as the Student of the Quarter for the third quarter of 2016-2017 by the faculty of Shoreline Christian School. Elise is characterized by the faculty as someone who “has become less focused on the grade and more on becoming a healthy learner. She has come to grips with her anxiety and has learned to flourish in spite of it. How does it feel to be known and loved?
I began attending PIP ten years ago when my oldest was 10 and my youngest was beginning kindergarten. I was looking for community and joining a prayer group seemed like a good place to start.
