Winter Break- No School

February 15th is a teacher work day, mid-winter break begins on Friday, February 16th, and there is no class Monday, February 19th due to President's Day. Childcare will be open on the 16th for those families that preregister but will be closed on the 19th for the President's Day Holiday. Christmas Vacation- No School

No school December 18- January 1 for Christmas Vacation. School will resume Tuesday, January 2.

Childcare will be open December 18-22 for families who preregister. Childcare will be closed December 25 - January 1.

Parent-Teacher Conferences: No School

Parent-Teacher conferences for grades K-12 will be held Monday and Tuesday, November 20 and 21. These are an integral aspect of our partnership with families in the students' educations; we encourage you to make attendance a priority. Elementary parents are invited to conference without their students. Short-term babysitting while you are in conference will be available; you will have opportunity to sign up for this when you sign up for conferences. No School- Teachers' Convention

No school (PS-12th grade) Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6. Teachers will be attending the annual NWCSI Teachers' Convention in order to collaborate with other area teachers to develop and learn new teaching methods and ideas.

Parent Discussion Hour

Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00PM in the High School South Wing. Tuvette McCroskey (fellow SCS parent, educator and certified life coach) is presenting on: Executive Function Skills in Children: What You Need to Know and Why It Matters. Executive function is like the CEO of our lives! It is the foundation of how we relate to the world.
