Parents run Shoreline Christian School
Shoreline Christian is owned and operated by the Shoreline Christian School Society, a non-profit corporation. Membership is comprised of many parents and others interested in Christian education. Society members elect the School Board, which makes policy decisions, hires the Administrator, and recommends the annual budget to Society members for approval. Parents and staff serve on a number of committees, e.g., Advancement, Admissions, Buildings and Grounds, Education and Finance.
The SCS Society meets quarterly for updates about school business from the School Board and committees and to vote on matters such as the annual budget. All are welcome to join the SCS Society after attending an orientation to the school, its history, mission and governing principles.
