Spring Sports

Each spring offers track & field and golf teams for students to participate in. Both sports are co-ed, and due to the individual nature of the events, are available to any student interested in competing, whether one student or the entire student body. The spring sports season begins in March and goes through the end of May. 

Track & field

The track & field team offers numerous events in sprinting, hurdles, throwing, and relay. Students compete in league meets and invitational events with various schools from the area. Athletes can qualify for playoffs through various meets throughout the season.

Golf highlights from past years include:

  • Consistent representation at the league and tri-district playoff tournaments
  • Three state appearances (2003, 2004, and 2012)

Baseball

Baseball has a relatively short history at our school, with the program beginning in the 1999 season. Highlights include

  • State championship tournament appearances in 2015 and 2016
  • 4th place in state in the 2003 season
  • League sportsmanship award in the 2011 season.
