2016 Gala Auction: INCREDIBLE

Join us for the biennial Gala Auction benefiting Shoreline Christian School. The 2016 auction will be held at Inglewood Golf Club in Kenmore, Washington on Saturday, October 22.

In case you've never been to an SCS gala auction, you're in for a night of fun and entertainment. Doors open at 6:00 pm and bidding begins in the 2 silent auctions. When the second silent auction closes, dinner is served! The night culminates with the live auction including a dash for your dessert and a special appeal. There is something for everyone including getaway packages to Birch Bay and Victoria, BC, unique art project created by your favorite SCS students and much, much more! So dress to the nines and come ready to raise your paddle! 
 
Schedule:
Check-in open at 5:45 pm
Doors open at 6:00 pm
Silent Auction 1 closes at 6:45 pm
Silent Auction 2 closes at 7:05 pm
Dinner Served 7:15 pm
Live Auction begins 8:00 pm
 

Menu:
Appetizers are passed during the silent auctions. 
Herb and goat cheese tartelette with fig jam
Grilled shrimp topped with sundried tomato-herb pesto

All meals come with the Northwest Apple and Pecan Salad – with baby arugula, seasonal apples, dried cranberries, spiced candied pecans and chevre cheese tossed in an apple cider vinaigrette

All main dishes are gluten free. Choose from the following delicious items:
Achiote-Marinated Free Range Chicken – topped with tequila-lime sauce and pineapple-mint-mango salsa and served with charred lime with roasted garlic and wild rice vegetable pilaf
Citrus Smoked Wild Salmon – orange spiced and lightly smoked wild Alaskan salmon topped with candied orange, preserved lemon and thyme compound butter with roasted garlic and wild rice vegetable pilaf
Filet Mignon – 8oz dry aged tenderloin topped with veal shallot demi and butter poached wild mushrooms served with herb roasted potato medley tossed with roasted shallot oil
Wild Mushroom Risotto

Dessert Dash! During the Live Auction tables collectively bid for prime dessert dash position. The table with the highest bid dashes first to claim their dessert. With so many decadent options, how will you decide?

Master of Ceremonies: Friend of SCS Chris Grafmiller will be joining us again as Master of Ceremonies for the 2016 Gala Auction.
Auctioneer: Our live auctioneer is from Stokes Auction Group.
Special presentation: Alumna Sophie Weaver will share her story reflecting on the incredible community at SCS.
