Kingdom Work: Discovering our Vocational Calling

Our mission statement calls us to partner together (school, church, and home) to help our students develop their unique gifts and abilities. We want our students to explore all kinds of vocations and find one that fits best with their God-given gifts. When Church and School Partner

My wife teaches kindergarten in our school. It is always fun when one of her students encounters her outside of the classroom. We were visiting a church when Sue was spotted by a group of her students. Some ran up to her for a hug while others held a parent’s hand and excitedly pointed. The pastor, watching their reaction and the reaction of his own children, looked at Sue and laughingly said, “It looks like we have a rock star visiting us today!” Read more >> about When Church and School Partner

Preschool and the Gospel

I’ve mentioned before that I have son in preschool at Shoreline Christian School; his name is John. He has a pretty great story for being only three, but that’s another blog post for another time. He and I have shared so many sweet moments over the years, but a recent conversation really stands out. It’s the one where I was able to share the gospel with him.
