Unwrapping Gifts at Full Life Center

Posted by Sue Visser, Kindergarten Teacher

The First Graders, Kindergartners, and Second graders are making a difference, and have been doing so for the last ten to twelve years. Several times during the school year, we visit a place called Full Life Center, a daycare facility for the elderly, stroke patients, and physical and developmentally disabled. They contacted our school to see if we would be interested in visiting their facility several times per year.

East Coast Reflections

~By Sarah Ott, Grade 11

When I heard that our school was offering a trip for High School students to tour the East Coast, I was so excited. I think that regardless of your age, everybody should travel to new places every once in a while. Traveling is one of the best ways to experience new cultures and gain new perspective. On the trip we traveled to many of the major cities on the East Coast including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. Each one of these cities was filled with exciting culture, interesting people, and amazing history. There was never a dull day!
