Standardized Tests

Standardized Testing is used during high school to help students understand their academic strengths and prepare for college entrance exams, such as the SAT and ACT. Students and their parents work with the SCS faculty and the academic advisor to prepare for the college selection and application process. Students participate in the following tests:

Freshman: National Educational Development Test (NEDT)

Sophomore: PLAN (preliminary to the ACT)

Junior: Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT)/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT)

Senior: College placement tests
