The drama program at Shoreline Christian School is designed to provide opportunities for interested students to explore and develop their gifts in the theatre arts. Generally, the school produces one play or musical per year. High school students, and sometimes junior high students, are invited to audition for a performing or technical role, usually in the spring. Students who participate in this collaborative work of theatre art find that they improve not only their theatre skills, but also their speaking skills, people skills, self-confidence, and creativity.
Music plays a big part in the SCS community and most students participate in either vocal or instrumental groups. Students perform several concerts during the school year, including the Fall Festival of Music, the Christmas Concert, Spring Vocal Concert, Spring Instrumental Concert and Spring Pops. Every other year at Christmas, the students offer Christmas Madrigal Dinners as a special treat.
- Vocal Music includes the high school choir and the select audition ensemble, Shiloh.
- Instrumental Music includes the concert band, jazz band, and string ensemble.
The visual arts program offers opportunities for students to explore a variety of visual media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and graphic design. Artists display their work at the Spring Art Show and submit pieces for competitions.
